Museum

Lavender Fields

  • The lavender fields are a short walk away from the main building using some easy to moderate slopes.
  • The paths are mainly block paving, mud or concrete and are very uneven in places with several easy to moderate slopes. Photographs 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 show the paths and slopes.
  • There is a small display field opposite the farm shop. as shown in photographs 6, 7 and 8.
  • The lavender field itself is uneven and is soft underfoot with a payment kiosk as you enter the field. The height of the serving counter is 82cm (shown in photograph 5).
  • Assistance with picking lavender is available if requested.
