Buckner Road and Town Hall Courtyard

  • Lambeth Town Hall and the Civic Centre are connected by Buckner Road and a courtyard at the rear of the two buildings.
  • There is vehicle access for Blue Badge holders and for deliveries into Buckner Road from Acre Lane.
  • Access is controlled by an intercom and automated bollards.
  • This is a one-way route which is also used by staff cyclists using the cycle store in the area.
  • Buckner Street is set out as a shared surface with level block paving throughout.
  • There is street lighting and there are some street trees and public cycle racks on the right as you approach the Civic Centre from Acre Lane.
