Introduction

Services / facilities within the grounds include a deer enclosure and an animal farm.

Animals include sheep, goats, ducks, rabbits, pigs, chinchillas and ponies.
During the weekly animal petting sessions, visitors are escorted into some of the enclosures to get closer to the animals. Some of the enclosures can be accessed via a portable ramp.
There are picnic style tables and a hand wash area in the animal feeding area.
There are two wheelchair accessible picnic tables which are in a locked area adjoining the deer enclosure. Access to this area is available only during the Wednesday tours. The tours are currently suspended due to covid, but are scheduled to recommence at October half term 2021.
