There are heavy, double, doors to access the stairwells on all floors at the east and west stairs. There are 3 staircases from the ground floor to the ground floor mezzanine on each side of the building (photograph 7). The mezzanine stairs are 15 deep steps, clearly marked, with handrails on both sides. There are additional stairs to the mezzanine next to the main staircase (photographs 8 & 9). There are 8 deep steps, clearly marked, with handrails on the left.

Refuge Intercom System
