Getting To The Hospital

Getting Help and Assistance

  • There is a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital.

Getting To (Medical Day Unit)

  • Enter via the main entrance and proceed past reception. Upon reaching the waiting area bear left through the doorway into the first corridor, following signs for wards. At the end of the corridor turn left and follow the corridor to the lifts on the right hand side. Take the lift to level 3 and on exiting the Medical Day Unit is diagonally to the left on the opposite side of the corridor.
  • There is step free access, via lift, to Medical Day Unit.
  • Medical Day Unit is approximately 5m from the lift.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
  • Dementia friendly signage is provided.
  • There is some flooring in corridors with a very shiny finish which could cause issues with glare or be perceived as slippery.
