Section 1 - Whittington Road to Marlborough Road

  • The length of this section is approximately 160 metres.
  • From the Whittington Road end the path will be on both sides of a one-way road in which the traffic flows towards you.

Junction - Marlborough Road and Myddleton Road

Section 2 - Marlborough Road to Palmerston Road

  • From the Marlborough Road end, the path will be on both sides of a two-way road in which the traffic flows both ways.

  • There is a driveway on the left at the entrance to the New River Path.

Junction - Myddleton Road and Palmerston Road

  • There is a crossing at the junction of Palmerston Road and Myddleton Road on the left side of the road.
  • At the junction there is a dropped kerb with tactile paving on both sides.
  • There is a crossing on the right side of the road which has a dropped kerb and tactile paving on both sides.
  • There is a crossing across Myddleton Road near the junction with Palmerston Road which has a dropped kerb.
  • There is no vehicle access into the right hand portion of Palmerston Road at this junction. Traffic may approach from both directions with traffic exiting from Myddleton Road.
  • This junction is the end of the route.
