  • Between the Discovery Centre and the Rhubarb Shed Cafe area of the site is an open grassed area used for events and two smaller performance areas laid out as grass amphitheatres.
  • Pathways are steep in places and the surfaces vary between compacted gravel and mud. Visitors to the events arena could be dropped off at the roadside to avoid the circulation difficulties.
