Junction - Hatfield Road, St Peter's Street and Catherine Street Roundabout

  • There are several crossings at this junction to cross St Peter's Street, Hatfield Road and Catherine Street.

  • These crossings have dropped kerbs and tactile paving on both sides.

  • There is a crossing in St Peter's Street as you reach the roundabout from the south of the City Centre.

  • There are some uneven areas on the pathways throughout this section.
  • There are some obstructions along the pavement on both sides such as signs, railings, bus stops, bins and signboards.
  • There is a pedestrian crossing next to Chaps Barbers and the Jubilee Community Centre.
  • This crossing has dropped kerbs and tactile paving on both side.
  • The pedestrian crossing is push button controlled with visual signals.
  • The surface of the road is tarmac at the crossing.

Etna Road to Folly Lane via Catherine Street

  • The pathways on both sides are fairly wide.
  • There is a steep downhill slope between Etna Road and Folly Lane.
  • There are some uneven areas on the pathways throughout this section.
  • There are some obstructions along the pavement on both sides such as signs, bus stops, bins and signboards.
  • There are side roads and entrances to cross along the route, most of which have dropped kerbs and tactile paving on both sides.

  • The surface of the road is tarmac.

Junction - Folly Lane, Gombards, Normandy Road and Catherine Street

  • There are several crossings at this junction to cross Catherine Street, Folly Lane and Normandy Road.
  • Gombards has no crossing.
  • The crossings have dropped kerbs and tactile paving on both sides.
  • The pedestrian crossings are push button controlled with visual signals.
  • The pathways are block paving and tarmac.
  • The surface of the roads is tarmac.
  • There is a steep slope downhill into Gombards and Folly Lane from the junction.
  • There is a steep uphill slope into Catherine Street from the junction.
  • There is an easy slope into Normandy Road from the junction.
