Sovereign Shopping Centre Car Park - Matchday Parking

Sovereign Shopping Centre to Ashley Road

  • After exiting the shopping centre, via the main access point, turn left.
  • Follow the path for 50m until you reach the subway beneath the road.
  • The surface of the path is block paving.
  • There is step-free access along the path.
  • There is a long slight slope along the path, leading down to the subway and leading up to Ashley Road.
  • There are handrails on both sides of the slope.
  • At the bottom of the first initial slope turn right and follow the upwards slope towards Ashley Road.
  • At the top of the slope, when exiting the subway, turn left.

Ashley Road to Kings Park

  • After turning left when exiting the subway, follow Ashley Road for approximately 500m until the path reaches the turning into Kings Park.
  • There is step-free access along the path.
  • The surface of the path is tarmac.
  • The route crosses Shelley Road, Tower Road, Grantham Road and South Road.
  • The crossing at Shelley Road has dropped kerbs on both sides; however there is no tactile paving.
  • The crossings at Tower Road, Grantham Road and South Road have dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides.
  • After approximately 300m there is a bridge crossing the train line.
  • There is a steep slope leading up to the bridge from the path.
  • Cross over the bridge and follow the path for approximately 450m.
  • At this point of the route there is a pedestrian crossing to get to the opposite side of Ashley Road.
  • The pedestrian crossing has dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides.
  • After completing the crossing turn left.
  • Follow the path for approximately 40m until you reach the turning into Kings Park.
  • At the turning turn right.

Kings Park (South Path) to the Main Car Park

  • After turning off Ashley Road into Kings Park, follow the path for approximately 280m.
  • The surface of the path is tarmac.
  • There is step-free access along the path.
  • After approximately 130m the route crosses the Kings Park access road.
  • Caution is advised due to oncoming traffic.
  • The crossing point is next to the Kings Park Cafe.
  • After completing the crossing turn right and follow the path until you reach King’s Park Drive.
  • There is slight slope at the end of the path leading up to the King’s Park Drive.
  • There is then a crossing point over King’s Park Drive.
  • There are dropped kerbs on both sides.
  • There is no tactile paving at the dropped kerbs.
  • After completing the crossing the path leads onto the Main Car Park.
  • Caution is advised when crossing the car park to the outer concourse.

Outer Concourse

  • There is step-free access throughout the outer concourse.
    The outer concourse has a tarmac surface.
  • There is a pre-match food and drink kiosk located on the outer wall of the Vitality Steve Fletcher North Stand.
    The Great Escape Bar is located at the corner of the Main Stand and the Vitality Steve Fletcher North Stand .
    There are programme stalls located at regular intervals around the concourse.
  • There is step-free access to the stands and hospitality entrances.
  • Clear directional signage is provided on the concourse.
  • There is a stadium plan/map on the concourse.
  • There is a steward/member of staff available for assistance on match days.
