Access To (Birds of Prey)

  • The Birds of Prey Enclosures and Flying Display is located at the end of the path opposite the Blue Badge Bay car park.
  • The distance from Blue Badge car park is 200m.
  • The most accessible route has slight ramps or slopes and uneven surfaces.
  • There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the entrance.
  • There is step-free access via slope to the Birds of Prey Enclosures.
  • The slope has a steep gradient.

Exhibition Space (Birds of Prey Enclosure)

  • This area is outdoors.
  • The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: the paths to some of the enclosures.
  • Access throughout may include uneven surfaces.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
  • The following may be experienced here: sudden loud noises.
  • There is no (or very little) background noise.
  • There is not a hearing assistance system.

Designated Seating (Birds of Prey - Flying Displays at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00)

  • The designated seating area surveyed is located beyond the Birds of Prey enclosures, at the end of the path.
  • There is step-free access via slope to the designated seating.
  • The slope has a slight gradient.
  • The designated seating area is not clearly marked or signed.
  • The view from this seating area is clear from obstructions.
  • Companions sit in front of you.
  • Seating available in this area includes: benches.
  • Some seating is fixed.
