Getting Here (Non Championships)

  • By Road View
    • Please use SW19 5AG and SW19 5AF to locate the venue via Sat-Nav.
    • Provisions are made for Blue Badge parking close to the venue from August to May. Please ask Security for directions.
  • By Bus View
    • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
    • The 493 bus service links Wimbledon Station (South West Trains, London Underground District line, Tram Link) and Southfields Station (London Underground District line) to the Museum. The 493 service is provided by NCP Challenger (under contract to Transport for London) and runs single deck buses mostly with wheelchair access. The bus stop is announced and is called 'Wimbledon Tennis Club and Museum'. The bus stops are immediately outside the venue.
  • By Train View
    • The nearest Railway Station is Wimbledon.
    • The 493 bus service links Wimbledon Station (South West Trains, London Underground District line, Tram Link) and Southfields Station (London Underground District line) to the venue.
  • By Underground View
    • The nearest underground station is Wimbledon and Southfields.

Gate 4, Parking and Getting Around

Introduction

  • The learning programme is both fun and inspiring with all visits designed to be flexible to meet the needs of each group.
  • All ages are offered the opportunity to learn through a wide range of subjects and activities designed to open up the world of Wimbledon and engage all with the fascinating story of lawn tennis.
  • Leaders can choose from workshops, lectures and/or guided tours of the grounds.
  • All visits include entrance to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. 
  • All visits are delivered in English.
  • We have a wealth of experience of working with EFL groups and each tour, workshop or lecture is designed to be entertaining and enlightening for all.

Route to the Learning Centre

  • Access to the Learning Centre is via the Press Interview Rooms external entrances.
  • There are 2 sets of doors at this entrance.
  • The first set of doors is 80cm wide and open towards you.
  • The leaf extension can be opened to make the door wider.
  • The second set of doors open towards you and are 75cm wide.
  • There is step free access along the corridor which leads to the stairs or lift.
  • The stairs or lift can be used to access the corridor leading to the Learning Centre.
  • There is step free access along the corridor leading to the Learning Centre.
  • The surface of flooring along the corridors varies between vinyl and carpet.
  • There are doors located along the corridor which will either be held open, or a member of staff will provide assistance with.
