COVID-19 Information (No.3 Court)

  • The information in this section was taken in June 2021.
  • All ticket holders attending The Championships will be required to show proof of COVID-19 status upon entry, either in the form of both vaccinations (first and second dose), and with the second dose 14 days ago; or a negative lateral flow test (for those aged 11 and over).
    Proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 48hrs of attending the event can be displayed via SMS text, or via email.
    Proof of vaccine can be displayed via the NHS App, NHS website or by downloading and printing off a PDF through the App or website.
    A non-digital letter is also available through the NHS website using the ‘Get your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination status letter’ service or by phoning 119.
    Users of the NHS App will also be able to show their natural immunity (through a positive PCR test in the last 180 days) through the NHS App.
  • Ticket holders will be required to wear face coverings while moving around the grounds.
    To further trial the suspension of non-pharmaceutical interventions (face coverings and social distancing), the use of face coverings and social distancing will not be mandatory whilst ticket holders are seated while at the venue.?
    This will enable ticket holders to sit with any guest at any time, both in the court and in food and drink spaces, however we expect there still to be a form of social distancing around the grounds, particularly in managing any queues.
  • As agreed with the Government, The Championships 2021 will begin on Monday 28 June with 75 per cent capacity on No.3 Court.
    During the 2021 Championships No.3 Court will be only have seating for reserved ticket holders.
  • There will be stewards located at the gangways and around No.3 Court to help maintain social distancing and provide assistance to ticket holders.
  • There is hand sanitiser available at the entrance.
  • The hand sanitisers are free standing.
  • The height of the hand sanitiser is 85cm.
  • Ticket holders are asked to keep to the left on the walkways around No.3 Court.
  • Toilets are available.

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The Championships are held at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, which is located at: The All England Lawn Tennis Club, Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 5AE.
      Please use SW19 5AG and SW19 5AF to locate the AELTC via Sat-Nav.
      All visitors are strongly advised to use public transport services wherever possible.
    • The car parks are numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10, they are located on Wimbledon Park Road, Church Road and Somerset Road.
      Blue Badge Parking is available in car parks 6 and 10.
      There are designated Blue Badge drop off points located on Somerset Road outside Gate 13 and on Wimbledon Park Road outside Gate 1.
      A Park and Ride scheme is available (06:30-23:00) at Morden Park.
      The park and ride stop at the Championship is located on the corner of Somerset Road and Marryat Road.

    • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
    • During the Championships there are dedicated bus services running from Wimbledon Station and Southfields Underground Station.
      The bus stop for buses from Wimbledon Station are located on Somerset Road.
      The bus stops for buses from Southfields Underground Station are located on Church Road.

    • The nearest underground station is Wimbledon and Southfields.
    • Both Wimbledon and Southfields underground stations have step free access.
      There is a dedicated bus service from Wimbledon Station to Somerset Road.
      There are dedicated bus services from Southfields Underground Station to Church Road.
      There are dedicated walking routes from both stations to the Championships with clear signage.

  • There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.

Gates and Routes to the Court

Access to No.3 Court Seating

  • There are gangways located around the edge of No.3 Court to provide access to the seating.
  • There is step free access on the paths around No.3 Court.
  • There are very slight and slight slopes in places on paths around the court.
  • There are between 9 to 15+ clearly marked steps with handrails on both sides leading from the Gangways to the seating areas.
  • The number of steps varies depending on the Gangway used.
  • There is a very slight slope at Gangways 10 which can be used to access the front of the seating area.
  • Once in the seating area there are 1 to 15 plus clearly marked steps to access the rows of seating.

Gangway 10

  • Entrances 10 is located on the west side of No.3 court.
  • The entrances is 160cm wide.
  • There is step free access to the designated seating.
  • During The Championships there is a steward stationed at both entrances.

Designated Seating

  • Wheelchair users have a designated accessible seating area.
  • The designated seating is courtside of No.3 Court.
  • The designated accessible seating area is accessed from the concourse through gate 10 located on the north west corner of No.3 Court.
  • There is step free access to the designated seating through the gangways.
  • The gangways are 1.55m wide at the narrowest point.
  • There are 10 designated wheelchair spaces, 5 of these are unreserved and 5 of these are reserved for ticket holders.
  • The view from this area is good.
  • The are 10 spaces for companions.
  • A companion can sit near / beside you.
  • Accessible toilets are available.
  • The accessible toilets are located to the left of Gate 10.

Accessible Toilet(s) (No.3 Court - Gangway 10)
