Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The Championships are held at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, which is located at: The All England Lawn Tennis Club, Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 5AE.
      Please use SW19 5AG and SW19 5AF to locate the AELTC via Sat-Nav.
      All visitors are strongly advised to use public transport services wherever possible.
    • The car parks are numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10, they are located on Wimbledon Park Road, Church Road and Somerset Road.
      Blue Badge Parking is available in car parks 6 and 10.
      There are designated Blue Badge drop off points located on Somerset Road outside Gate 13 and on Wimbledon Park Road outside Gate 1.
      A Park and Ride scheme is available (06:30-23:00) at Morden Park.
      The park and ride stop at The Championships is located on the corner of Somerset Road and Marryat Road.

    • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
    • During The Championships there are dedicated bus services running from Wimbledon Station and Southfields Underground Station.
      The bus stop for buses from Wimbledon Station are located on Somerset Road.
      The bus stops for buses from Southfields Underground Station are located on Church Road.

    • The nearest underground station is Wimbledon and Southfields.
    • Both Wimbledon and Southfields underground stations have step free access.
      There is a dedicated bus service from Wimbledon Station to Somerset Road.
      There are dedicated bus services from Southfields Underground Station to Church Road.
      There are dedicated walking routes from both stations to The Championships with clear signage.

Car Park 6

  • Car Park 6 is located off Church Road and is closest to the Gate 5 entrance.
  • There is a designated parking area for pre bookings and unreserved on-day parking, but no marked bays within this area.
  • Blue Badge Parking is free but there is £3 booking free when booking online.
  • Access to the designated parking area is straight ahead as you enter.
  • Stewards are present to direct you to the correct location.
  • There is a drop off zone located to the right as you enter.
  • The surface of the designated parking area is grass while the access road is made up of compacted earth with some loose chippings.
  • There is a temporary surfaced path leading from the designated parking area.
  • The car park closes 1 hour after the end of play.
  • There is marque located to the left as you enter Car Park 6, where passengers can be dropped off to wait whilst a car is being parked in the car park.

Car Park 8

  • Car park 8 is located off Church Road and is closest to the Gate 1 entrance.
  • There is a Blue Badge holder parking area but no marked bays within this area.
  • Blue Badge Parking is free but there is £3 booking free when booking online.
  • Access to the Blue Badge holder parking area is to the left as you enter.
  • Stewards are present to direct you to the correct location.
  • The surface of the Blue Badge holder parking area is grass while the access road is made up of metal raised cladding.
  • Persons using the Blue Badge holder parking seeking to purchase an on-day ticket for The Championships can take the pathway to the right to the Mobility Tent, as shown in photograph 4, where they will be allocated a place in the queue.
  • From here Blue Badge holders can wait until their queue card number is reached before being escorted across to Gate 3, where they can purchase a ticket and enter the grounds.
  • There is a moderate slope leading down from the car park pedestrian entrance.
  • The surface of the slope is uneven tarmac and some loose chippings.
  • The gate is permanently held open and 170cm wide.
  • The car park closes 1 hour after the end of play.

Buses, Blue Badge Drop Off/Pick Up and Park & Ride

  • During The Championships there are dedicated bus services running from Wimbledon Station and Southfields Underground Station.
  • The bus stop for buses from Wimbledon Station are located on Somerset Road.
  • The bus stops for buses from Southfields Underground Station are located on Church Road.
  • There are designated Blue Badge drop off points located on Somerset Road outside Gate 13.
  • A Park and Ride scheme is available (06:30 - 23:00) at Morden Park.
  • The park and ride stop at The Championships is located on the corner of Somerset Road and Marryat Road.
  • There is a taxi drop off/pick up point on Marryat Road.
  • There is step free access to the gates via drop kerbs.
