Getting To The Hospital (Alexandra Hospital)

  • By Road View
    • Leave the M42 and join the A435 south bound towards Redditch. At the roundabout take the third exit. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Claybrook Drive. Continue to the end of the road and at the roundabout take the second exit along Washford Drive. At the mini island turn right into Hospital Drive.
    • The parking is open air with tarmac surfaces. It is both a barrier control and a 'pay and display' car park. Pay machines for the barrier control system are situated outside the Main Entrance and inside the main reception. There are several drop off spaces available for a 20 minute drop off period outside the Main Entrance. There are designated Blue Badge spaces near main visitor entrance to the car park. Please note standard parking charges apply.
  • By Bus View
    • There are several bus services to the hospital, these include the 47, 48, 55, 67, 150 and the 247.
    • There is an onsite bus stop.
    • The bus stop is located to the front of the hospital site, opposite the Main Entrance. Assistance would be needed for wheelchair users due to the dropped kerbs and a road crossing to get to the Main Entrance.
    • There is a shelter with perch seating. There would be space inside for a wheelchair user.
