Overview (General)

Sensory Room Information

  • The Allianz Stadium sensory room is on level 6 and is suitable for anyone with neurodiversity, cognitive impairment and sensory processing issues such as autism, ADHD, dementia or other neurological conditions.
  • Supporters wishing to use the sensory room must be registered with our Personal Assistant (PA) scheme.
  • The sensory room is limited to a capacity of five PA Members plus their carer/parent/guardian (10 people in total). For balloted England matches, you must apply for the PA ballot when launched, saying you want to use the room, and normal ballot criteria must be met.

Entrance

  • This entrance is located in the West Stand, on level 1.
  • The approach to the entrance has uneven surfaces.
  • The entrance area is clearly signed.
  • There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
  • There is step-free level access at the entrance.
  • There are double manual doors at this entrance.
  • The doors open towards you.
  • The width of the opening is 172cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the opening.

Lift (West Stand - Lift 2A)

  • The lift surveyed is located in the West Stand.
  • The distance from the entrance is 5m.
  • The most accessible route to the lift has step-free level access.
  • Levels 1, 3 and 6 are accessed by this lift.
  • The lift door has a high visual contrast.
  • The lift has a level manoeuvring space in front of it for a wheelchair user.
  • The external lift control buttons have a medium colour contrast and tactile markings.
  • All of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
  • The lift door opening width is 106cm.
  • The internal dimensions of the lift are 180cm (width) x 141cm (depth).
  • The internal lift control buttons have a high visual contrast and tactile markings.
  • All of the internal lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
  • Internally the lift has: a mirror to aid reversing, a visual floor indicator, an audible announcer and a list of floor services/facilities.

    • The door opens outwards and has a low visual contrast.
    • The width of the door opening is 84cm.

  • Dimensions and Features View

  • There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
  • Internally the door has a high visual contrast.
  • There are no ambulant toilet facilities available.
  • There is a wash basin, a wall mounted soap dispenser and a wall mounted towel dispenser available.
  • The wash basin has a twist/turn tap.

Room

  • The room is located along the level 6 corridor.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a lift.
  • There is written text signage on or near the door.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • There is a single manual door with a high visual contrast.
  • The door opens inwards.
  • The width of the opening is 76cm.
  • There is step-free level access throughout the room.
