    • Guests who would find it difficult to exit the ride without assistance, in the unlikely event of an evacuation, will need to be accompanied by a member of their group. Group members providing assistance need to be over the age of 14.
    • Guests with a red ride access pass are required to ride with a carer over the age of 14 years.
    • This ride has separate access for Standard Passes and Ride Access Passes.
    • The minimum standing height restriction is 0.9m.
    • Guests under 1.1m high must accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over.
    • In the unlikely event of an evacuation, the process may include climbing ladders, walking over narrow balconies and being strapped into a harness. For this reason it is not suitable for all guests.
    • Guests can transfer from their own wheelchair into the ride vehicle. Guests can be supported to do this, but not carried.
    • For safety reasons, due to the speed and motion of this ride guests must be able to keep their head upright without assistance.
    • Due to the speed and motion of this ride guests must be able to brace themselves with their feet and remain sitting up right.
    • Guests who have a plaster cast or brace should seek medical advice before choosing to ride. If guests choose to ride they should check they can meet the rides safety requirements.

Getting Help and Assistance

  • There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.

  • There is a designated place of safety which can be used by people who may feel scared or at risk.

Ride Access (Standard Passes)

  • Access Point View
    • This ride/attraction access point is signed.
    • There is step-free access at this access point.
    • This access point is an open gateway.
    • The width of the access point opening is 100cm.
  • Queuing System View
    • Access along this queue consists of; slight slopes going up and slight slopes going down.
    • The approximate length of this queue is 180m.
    • Path surfaces in this queuing system are tarmac, concrete and wood flooring.
    • The queuing area is open air.
    • The minimum width of the queuing area is 86cm.
    • There are a total of 88 steps along this queue.

    • Approximately halfway along the queue, guests step down onto a pirate ship with water cannons that can be used to spray riders.
      This section of the queue can be bypassed via a gate located prior to the steps that lead down to the ship.

    • Access to the platform is via closed single gates.
    • The gate opening width is 53cm.
    • Guests have to step down and into the carriage.
    • The carriage may be moving in the water when guests are transferring.
    • Staff are unable to provide assistance when transferring into/onto the ride/attraction but can hold the carriage to limit movement.
    • There are no restraints available for this ride/attraction.

    • Wheelchairs can be left at the ride/attraction transfer platform/area.
    • Guests have to step down and into the carriage.
    • The carriage may be moving in the water when guests are transferring.
    • Staff are unable to provide assistance when transferring into/onto the ride/attraction but can hold the carriage to limit movement.
    • There are no restraints available for this ride/attraction.
    • Wheelchair users are able to transfer onto the ride at the offload area to bypass the narrow boarding gate.
