Parking

Entrance

  • The ramp is over 150cm wide with no handrails.
  • The only entrance onto the site is the vehicular entrance which is the one surveyed. There is no entrance solely for pedestrians.
  • The ramp is the speed hump at the site entrance threshold.
  • There is a single manual gate at this entrance.
  • The gate is permanently held open.
  • The width of the opening is 366cm.
  • The gate has a low visual contrast.
  • There is step-free level access as you enter.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
  • The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: the recycling area for car batteries, oils, small appliances and hard plastics is reached via a slight slope.
  • Access throughout may include uneven surfaces and bollards.
  • There is a low visual contrast between the walls and floor in all areas.
