Accessibility and You – take part in AccessAble’s survey!

Here at AccessAble, our aim is to provide detailed access information for venues throughout the UK and take the chance out of going out. Today, we’re asking you to share your thoughts and opinions to help inform the future of our work.

In 2018, we conducted the Accessibility and You survey. The results from this survey gave us powerful statistics and insights into disability and accessibility, which have since helped AccessAble to create even more positive change.

Graphic showing some results from 2018 survey, titled Accessibility Impact. This includes finding that 98% are 'more likely to visit if access information is available' and 9 out of 10 'feel anxious about visiting a place for the first time', and 76% 'would not visit a place if it did not have access information'.

Findings from the 2018 Accessibility and You survey.

We truly value the opinions and lived experiences of our users, so for 2023 through to 2024 we’re creating a survey that’s bigger and better than ever before. If you’d like to be part of this movement, you can participate in our survey now. Follow this link to get started!

The survey contains multiple-choice questions where you choose your answers from the list provided, and also open-ended questions where you can share anything you wish to about the topic in your response. The survey is online and can be completed at your own pace. You will find any instructions and guidance you may need on the survey webpage as you work your way through the questions, but if you have any further queries, please contact [email protected]

We hope to reach as many people as possible with the survey to make sure we’re including a range of different views. Once you’ve taken part, please do share the link and/or spread the word and encourage other disabled people to get involved too.

As well as helping to inform powerful research, anybody who takes part in the survey also has the chance of winning a prize! We’ll be offering one ‘first prize’ of £300, and two runner-up prizes of £100, in any voucher of your choice. Winners will be chosen at random, so all you have to do to be in with a chance is complete the survey and make sure you’ve included your contact details in the relevant sections. Best of luck!

Thank you in advance for your involvement. Take part in the survey now, spread the word, and here’s to making a difference!
