In November 2020, when City of York Council renewed their partnership with AccessAble, they committed to funding Access Guides for community venues moving forward. The idea being that local businesses would have the opportunity to fund the maintenance of their own Guides. A handful of commercial venues have taken over the funding to maintain their Guides. 

AccessAble and City of York Council are keen to receive feedback from users of the AccessAble website and app and find out how the Access Guides are being used, where you think improvements could be made, where you think the Access Guides should be promoted, and what venues should be prioritised for assessment.  

On Tuesday 30th November, there will be a drop-in session at York Explore Library so you can find out more about AccessAble and provide feedback.
