Free training in Barnsley - join AccessAble's surveying workshop

Would you like to learn new skills and help to make your local area more accessible to people with access needs?

AccessAble are looking for people who want to learn about our work, and have a go at collecting access information in Barnsley. If you feel you could help take accurate measurements, collect and record information then we would like to hear from you.

Come and hear more about how we create our Detailed Access Guides and the work of our surveyors.

In the morning you can learn about the information we collect and why it is important. In the afternoon we will all go out into Peel Square and you can have a go at surveying a venue yourself!

Lunch will be provided. Each attendee will receive a certificate and a voucher for completing the day.
