Introducing AccessAble Champion Emily Morison

We’d like you to meet our newest AccessAble champion, Emily Morison, who is helping to spread the word about AcccessAble and the vital work we do.

Hi! I’m Emily, I’m 24 and I live in Newcastle upon Tyne. You’ll often find me tweeting about #accessfails or tending to my ever-growing succulent plant collection!

My Able Emily blog is where I share about accessibility, disability and living with chronic pain. I have a condition that causes chronic pain in my hips, meaning I use a wheelchair and crutches to get around.

I’ve often found it difficult to find out access information about a destination when visiting for the first time. The Access Able app puts all of the information I need in one place, so I don’t have to worry about whether somewhere will be suitable for me and my wheelchair when I arrive. I’m excited to get involved with the work AccessAble is doing to make the world a more accessible and inclusive place for everyone.
