Introducing Natalie Gardner - AccessAble Champion

We’d like you to meet our newest AccessAble champion, Natalie Gardner, who is helping to spread the word about AcccessAble and the vital work we do.

Hi, I'm Natalie. I am 34, a mum to 2 boys and the owner of several chronic illnesses. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at 15 months of age and have iritis which is an eye condition linked to that. I also have Crohn's Disease for which I have an ileostomy called Stanley.

I enjoy reading, cross-stitch and going on adventures. My blog, The Spoonie Mummy, is all about life and parenting with chronic illnesses.  I am also a student with the Open University and am studying for a degree in Psychology.

I am really excited to be working with AccessAble and can't wait to share some of my favourite places to go. It is great to be representing the ostomy community and I am looking forward to helping others with bowel diseases and ostomies to feel more confident when getting out and about.
