Imperial College London have been working in partnership with AccessAble since 2012 producing Detailed Access Guides to over 80 buildings and 385 teaching/meeting spaces across all campuses.
The Guides are 100% facts, figures and photographs and give you loads of useful information to work out if the University building, service or room is going to be accessible to you. They cover everything from parking to hearing loops, walking distances and accessible toilets.
The free Accessibility Guide is for students, visitors and staff and is available at www.AccessAble.co.uk and on the AccessAble App.
Anna Nelson, Executive Director of AccessAble said:
“We are delighted to re-launch our Detailed Access Guides to Imperial College London. The College have made a significant investment in accessibility, working in partnership with AccessAble to ensure that vital, in-depth access information to all buildings is available for students, visitors and staff.
It has been a fantastic partnership and we hope other partners across the UK will look to follow the College’s example of putting inclusion at the heart of staff and student experience.”
Nick Roalfe, Director of Estates at Imperial College London said:
“We’re proud to be working with AccessAble to provide independently assessed accessibility information on all our College Buildings. We hope that you find the guides a helpful resource. We know there’s always more we can do and we’ll keep listening to the feedback we receive from our student, staff and visitors.”
