Your Accessibility Guide to the University of Roehampton is now live!

A South West London University with cutting edge facilities becomes latest of over 80 Universities across the UK to partner with AccessAble.

University of Roehampton have worked with AccessAble to create Detailed Access Guides to over 50 buildings, 120 teaching/meeting spaces and 11 routes across campus.

The Guides are 100% facts, figures and photographs and give you loads of useful information to work out if the University building, service or room is going to be accessible to you. They cover everything from parking to hearing loops, walking distances and accessible toilets.

The free Accessibility Guide is for students, visitors and staff and is available at www.AccessAble.co.uk and on the AccessAble App.

David Livermore, Director of Business Development at AccessAble said:

“We are delighted to launch our Detailed Access Guides to the University of Roehampton. The University have made a significant investment in accessibility, working in partnership with AccessAble to ensure that vital, in-depth access information to buildings, teaching spaces and routes is available for students, visitors and staff.

We hope other partners across the UK will look to follow the University’s example of putting inclusion at the heart of staff and student experience.”

Aleata Alstad-Calkins, Director of Student Support Services at University of Roehampton said:

“It’s an incredible opportunity to work with AccessAble to ensure that our campus is as accessible as possible and to ensure that we are considering the needs of every individual. We’re very proud to take this step forward in the right direction.”
