Getting To (Maternity Assessment Unit)
- The Maternity Assessment Unit is/are located within the Barnsley Birthing Centre, on the first floor of Women's Services at Barnsley Hospital.
- There is step free access, via lift, to the Maternity Assessment Unit.
- The Maternity Assessment Unit is approximately 15m from the Barnsley Birthing Centre entrance.

- The route from the car park to the Women's Services - C1 entrance has zebra crossings and bollards..
- Enter the hospital via the Women's Services - C1 entrance.
Turn right and follow the corridor round to the Purple Zone lifts.
Take the lift to the first floor and on exiting, turn left.
Go through the entrance to the Barnsley Birthing Centre then turn right and the Maternity Assessment Unit is ahead on the left. - View information about the lift (opens new tab)
