Getting To (West Berkshire Community Hospital - Podiatry)
- The most accessible route from the Blue Badge bays has a slight ramp or slope and a dropped kerb with tactile paving.
- Access to Podiatry is via the main hospital entrance.
- There is a drop-off point at this entrance.
- Podiatry is located off the main hospital corridor on the ground floor.
- Podiatry is approximately 40m from the main hospital entrance.
- Enter via the main hospital entrance and turn right at reception.
Proceed down the main hospital corridor.
Turn right into the Outpatients reception in order to check in.
Exit the Outpatients reception and turn right down the main hospital corridor again.
Turn right into the entrance to 'Clinic Rooms', where the Podiatry department is located. - Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
- Some flooring along the route is shiny .
- There are resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
- The following toilet facilities are available along the route; a toilet with adaptations (with left hand transfer) and a toilet with adaptations (with right hand transfer).
