About Mabley Green

Hackney Marshes, the spiritual home to grass roots football, spans across the east side of Hackney and has over 80 grass football, rugby and cricket pitches available for hire. As well as the sports pitches the Hackney Marshes Centre, located close to Homerton, has 26 modern changing rooms, dedicated officials rooms, 3 fully equipped meeting/conference rooms, a large bar/function suite and free parking.

Mabley Green is also a popular open space just minutes away from the expanse of Hackney Marshes and Wick Woodland. Mabley Green is characterised by a large climbable boulder in the centre of the space.  Its facilities include grass football pitches; 3G all weather floodlit pitch and FA standard changing facilities.

Both centres are incredibly important to community sport in Hackney; hosting the training and matches for many local teams and leagues.
