Getting To The Hospital

  • By Road View
    • The Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital is located on Steelhouse Lane.
    • Parking is available at the NCP Royal Angus Car Park located on Whittall Street, B4 6HD opposite the hospital or Printing House Car Park located on Printing House Street B4 6DE.
  • By Bus View
    • Getting to Birmingham Children's Hospital by bus. Services 33, 51, 52, 65, 67, X3, X4, X5, 907, X14, 934, 935, 935A, 936, 997, X51 – stop on James Watt Queensway or on Corporation Street. Services 16, 74 - to the bus stop at Old Square.

Getting Help and Assistance

  • There is a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital.

Public Parking

Getting To (The PE Hub)

  • The PE Hub is/are located on the lower ground floor of Ladywood House.
  • Access to the PE Hub is via the Ladywood House entrance (PE Hub and Staff Library).
  • Enter via the hospital main entrance and proceed up the sloped ramp to reception, then follow the corridor to the end and turn left on to Hospital Street main corridor. Follow the corridor through two sets of double doors, after the second set of doors bear left and enter through the door signed ‘PE Hub, Occupational Health and Staff Library’. Once outside the building follow the footpath and bear right. Continue to follow the path, down the slope to the entrance doors to Ladywood House. Enter through these doors, bear left and the PE Hub is directly ahead.
  • There is ramped/sloped access to the PE Hub.
  • The PE Hub is approximately 120m from the main hospital entrance.
  • There is a/are manual, heavy, double door(s) between the Main hospital entrance and the department/service.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
