Introduction
- The Vassall Centre is one of the earliest barrier free workplaces in the UK, having been extensively renovated in the last 25 years.
- The single storey building has been made accessible for those with a wide range of difficulties. .
- The building is occupied by more than 15 organisations as tenants.
- They are predominantly charities and social enterprises and with the ever busy Conference Centre, the building is a vibrant and very popular social hub.
- More than 25,000 people from all walks of life will use the Conference Centre every year.
- There is an average of 6 events a day and the Centre will usually hold functions 7 days a week.
