This Access Guide has been made possible thanks to:
Buckingham, the former county town of Buckinghamshire, is a vibrant small market town which has the river Great Ouse winding its way through its centre. Buckingham is characterised by a fine array of Georgian buildings and the Old Gaol which sits dominantly in the centre of the town. One of its best features are its large green spaces in and near the town centre. Many of its roads are tree lined, making it a very green town. Buckingham is located in the rural north of Buckinghamshire and can really be described as being the Green Heart of England. As you will see, there are numerous places to eat, drink, shop and stay in Buckingham, which is easily accessible from many parts of the country via excellent road links.
