Getting To (Ward R3 and Clinic R3)

  • The most accessible route from Accessible Parking and Drop-Off - Addenbrooke's Hospital main entrance has step-free level access, a dropped kerb with tactile paving, bollards and a pedestrian crossing.

  • Follow the corridor straight ahead, going through the lift lobby.
  • Then turn left, turn right and go to the end of the corridor.
  • Once at the end of the corridor turn left and follow this corridor to the end.
  • Then turn left and turn right again.
  • Exit the main building and follow the pathway ahead.
  • Continue up the slight slope and the entrance to the R Block is located on the right.
  • Enter the R Block, turn left and the lift 41 is located straight ahead.
  • Take the lift to level 3.
  • Exit the lift and the entrance to Ward R3 and Clinic R3 is located straight ahead.
  • Internally the most accessible route has a lift, a slight ramp or slope, manual doors and doors permanently held open.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny.
  • There are resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
