Getting Here (Princess of Wales Hospital)

Getting Help and Assistance

  • A member of staff trained in BSL skills is not normally on duty.
  • British Sign Language interpreters can be provided on request.
  • Language interpreters can be provided on request.
  • The alternative formats documents can be provided in include; Braille on request, large print on request, Makaton on request and different languages on request.
  • An assistance dog toilet area can be provided onsite.
  • There is a wheelchair to borrow to use around the building.

  • The development of Princess of Wales Hospital continues, so you will notice changes on site.
    During this time, you may find your usual entrance door closed, some uneven surfaces and parking maybe some distance from your appointment destination.
    The Trust are doing as much as they can to highlight change sand mark relevant areas but please take care when moving around outside the hospital. The Trust also suggest that you leave extra time to get to appointments if possible.
    On arrival, if you need wheelchair assistance please call our porters on 07458 054205 who will be able to assist you. The Trust would like to thank you for your continued patience and support and apologise for any inconvenience the ongoing works may cause.
