Overview

Getting Inside

  • To reach the Johnson Building Courtyard and the main entrance into the building there is an archway with a width of 100cm enroute.
  • There are four entrances into the Johnson building.
    The main entrance is located off the Johnson Building Courtyard and has step-free access via a slight slope on approach to an entrance with two sets of automatic doors.
  • The entrances are all signed as Johnson.
  • The main entrance provides step-free access into the ground floor.
  • There is an alternative stepped entrance off the Johnson Building Courtyard on the ground floor.
    There is an entrance to the east of the building leading into the landing on the staircase between the ground and first floors.
    There is a stepped entrance off the rear garden. The rear garden is accessed by 10 steps.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout the building.
  • The floor surfaces are carpeted.
  • There are chairs serving as a resting area on the ground floor and there are chairs on the landing of the east staircase between the ground and the first floors.
  • There are maps as well as limited signage available in the building.
  • Manual doors are permanently held open along the majority of the circulation routes with only the doors to the staircases requiring opening.

Parking (Red Car Park)
