Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free and level.
  • Moore has one entrance, the main entrance, which provides step-free access (via a steep ramp) into the building. There is a single manual door at this entrance.

  • There are not resting areas in any circulation areas of the building.
  • Wall-mounted wayfinding signage is provided near the entrance, and each room is clearly signed with numbered and written text signage on the door.
  • There are double manual doors along the main circulation corridor which are permanently held open.
  • At time of survey (April 2025), there were free standing A-frame whiteboards in the main corridor, posing potential obstructions.

  • This entrance is located at the front of the building, leading in from behind Fleming.
  • The approach to the entrance has uneven surfaces.
  • The entrance area is not clearly signed.
  • There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance.
  • The ramp has a steep gradient with resting areas.
  • The ramp is over 150cm wide with handrails on both sides.
  • There is a single manual door at this entrance.
  • The door has a locked extension leaf.
  • The door opens towards you.
  • The width of the opening is 85cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the opening.
  • The door has a low visual contrast.
