Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via steep and slight slopes from North Holmes Road or step-free via slight slope from the Priory cottages.
- Access to the alternative stepped entrance is via a slight downwards slope and uneven surfaces.
- St Martin's Priory has 2 entrances into the building.
- The main entrance is signed with 'St Martin's Priory'.
The alternative stepped entrance is signed as 'School of Law, Criminal Justice and Computing' and 'School of Psychology, Politics and Sociology'. - The main entrance provides step-free access via steep slope to the ground floor of the building.

Getting Around
- There is step-free level access via platform lift on the ground and first floor of the building.
The second floor of the building can only be accessed via stairs. - On the second floor of the building there are raised thresholds in some of the doorways.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and consist of carpet, tiles and wood. Some of the flooring is uneven on the first and second floor.
- There are resting areas on all floors of the building with a mixture of seating available.
- There is a building floor plan at the main entrance and there is limited wayfinding signage throughout the building.

- The most accessible route to the lift has step-free level access.
- The ground and first floor are accessed by this lift.
- The lift door has a low visual contrast.
- The lift does not have a level manoeuvring space in front of it for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
