Getting To (Discharge Lounge)

  • The Discharge Lounge is located on the Basement Level, in a portacabin underneath the link bridge between the East Wing and the Marjory Warren Building.
  • The Discharge Lounge is approximately 22m from the Marjory Warren Lifts.
  • From the Blue Badge Bays, the route to the main hospital building includes slight to steep slopes and a pedestrian road crossing with dropped kerbs and tactile paving.

    Continue straight down the main corridor until you reach the East Wing lift lobby.

    Upon exiting the lifts, turn right and immediately left, following the signage outside towards the Discharge Lounge.
    The Discharge Lounge portacabin is located on your left.

  • The most accessible route includes manual doors which may be difficult to open, manual doors which are held open and automatic doors.
