Ride/Attraction Summary

    • This ride has separate access for Standard Passes and Ride Access Passes.
    • The minimum standing height restriction is 0.9m.
    • Guests under 1.1m high must accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over.
    • The maximum chest size restriction is 129 inches.
    • This ride includes rigorous motion and / or velocity and is therefore not recommended for guests with back, heart or neck conditions.
    • This ride includes rigorous motion and / or velocity and is therefore not recommended for expectant mothers.
    • Assistance dogs may accompany their owner to the ride access point, where they will need to be cared for by a member of their group until they return.
    • In the unlikely event of an evacuation, the evacuation process requires guests to walk 25 m + independently.
    • Guests need to be able to transfer into the ride vehicle, this can be with assistance from a member of their group.
    • For safety reasons, due to the speed and motion of this ride guests must be able to keep their head upright without assistance.
    • Due to the speed and motion of this ride guests must be able to brace themselves with their hands and / or feet and remain sitting upright. Guests also need to be able to exit the ride independently / with assistance from a member of their group, in the unlikely event of an evacuation.
    • This ride/attraction is not suitable for Adventurers with heart conditions, recent surgery, back, neck or other conditions that could be aggravated by riding, and Adventurers with motion sickness.
    • Adventurers must be able to brace themselves, sit in an upright position and hold on tight with both arms.
      Adventurers with casts above the knee are not permitted to ride.
      Adventurers who are non-ambulant are permitted, but must meet the following conditions:
      Adventurers must be able to hold themselves upright without the assistance of a carer throughout the duration of the ride.
      Adventurers must be able to hold onto handles or lap bars and brace against the forces of the ride.
      Non-ambulant Adventurers should have a minimum of 2 companions. One MUST be on the ride. The second companion can either ride with them or wait by the ride exit to assist if required.
    • For RAP access, please contact the ride operator via the ride exit.
      Wheelchairs can be left at the ride exit gate.

Getting Help and Assistance

  • There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.
  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
  • There are mobility aids available.
  • The mobility aids available include wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
  • To obtain mobility aids please contact Guest Services.
  • There is a designated place of safety which can be used by people who may feel scared or at risk.
  • The designated place of safety is located in the Sensory Space within Adventure Point.
  • All staff undertake Disability Awareness and Equality Training.

Ride Access (Standard Passes)

  • Access Point View
    • This ride/attraction access point is signed.
    • There is ramped/sloped access at this access point.
    • This access point is an opening with no gate(s) or door(s).
    • The width of the access point opening is 132cm.
  • Queuing System View
    • Access along this queue consists of; slight slopes going up and slight slopes going down.
    • The approximate length of this queue is 15m.
    • Path surfaces in this queuing system are block paving.
    • The queuing area is open air.
    • The minimum width of the queuing area is 93cm.
    • Handrails along the ramped/sloped section(s) are not provided.
    • There are not any resting/seating areas along the queue.
    • Music/themed noise is played along the queue.

    • Access to the platform is via an open gateway.
    • The gate(s) is/are opened manually by staff.
    • This ride/attraction platform access point is not signed.
    • The gate opening width is 92cm.
    • There is a slight downwards slope from the platform access gate to the platform (photograph 7).
    • Wheelchairs are not permitted in/on the ride/attraction itself.
    • Wheelchairs can be left at the ride/attraction transfer platform/area.
    • Guests have to step up and into the carriage.
    • The carriage is secure and will not move when guests are transferring.

Ride Access (Ride Access Passes)

  • Ride Transfer View
    • Wheelchairs are not permitted in/on the ride/attraction itself.
    • Wheelchairs can be left at the ride/attraction transfer platform/area.
    • Guests have to step up and into the carriage.
    • The carriage is secure and will not move when guests are transferring.
    • Staff are unable to provide assistance when transferring into/onto the ride/attraction.
    • The restraints for this ride/attraction include: lap bars.
    • One of the seats on the carriage has an extension that can be opened wider for guests that need to transfer onto it.
      The width of the opening is 52cm.
      There is an aid available which helps guests slide across onto the seats if needed (photographs 5-6).
      Please ask the ride operator if this is needed.

    • This exit is also the Ride Access Pass entrance.
