Getting To The Hospital (Chesterfield Royal Hospital)

  • By Road View
    • The hospital is situated 1.5 miles to the east of Chesterfield, just off the A632.
    • Standard and accessible open-air parking is available to the north, south and west of the hospital site.
  • By Bus View
    • The nearest bus stops are situated outside the main hospital entrance.
      Buses 1, 1A, 80 and 80A stop here and provide direct services to and from Langwith, Hillstown, Sheffield, Crystal Peaks and Halfway.
    • There is an onsite bus stop.
    • The onsite bus stops are situated directly opposite the main hospital entrance.
    • The bus stops are all sheltered.
      There is bench seating available and sufficient space for a wheelchair user to wait.
    • The bus stops are between 30m and 75m from the main entrance.
      The entire route is on a slight downward slope via a pavement with no roads to cross, no dropped kerbs and no tactile paving.
