About View
- The Faith Museum contains four galleries of exhibitions covering a selection of religions through history. There are various religious artefacts on display.

Parking and Public Transport View
- The venue does not have its own car park.
- The nearest train station is Bishop Auckland.
Getting In and Around View
- There is step-free level access via lift at the most accessible entrance.
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas, this may include the use of a lift.
- The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: Gallery 4 has a ramp immediately after entry into the gallery.
- Access throughout may include narrow walkways.
- Galleries 1, 2, 3 and 4 can be accessed via a standard lift and stairs.
- There are no toilet facilities.
- Toilet facilities are available within the main Auckland Castle building.
Getting Help and Assistance View
- There is seating available.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is a water bowl available for assistance dogs.
- There is not a designated assistance dog spending area.

From the accessible entrance, turn left at the second door, into the Gentleman's Hall, go through the door on the left in the Gentleman's Hall, use the Café, Toilets, Shop and Faith Museum Platform Lift, which accesses a small level change. Exit the lift and take the doorway to the right through the café. Take the door to the rear right of the café. Turn left follow corridor to end and turn right and the Faith Museum is at the end.
The distance from the main Castle entrance is 100m.
The most accessible route has narrow walkways, uneven surfaces, a platform lift, slight ramps or slopes, steps and steep ramps or slopes.
There is written text signage on or near the entrance.

This entrance is located directly ahead as you approach the Faith Museum area.
The entrance area is clearly signed.
There is step-free access via slope at the entrance.
The slope has a steep gradient.
The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide with a handrail on the right going down.
There are double manual doors at this entrance, however one door is locked or bolted.
The doors opens by sliding.
The width of the opening is 116cm.

There is a second single automatic door.
The second door open by sliding.
The width of the opening is 101cm.

There is background noise in some areas of the venue.
