Access Guide
Routes and Getting to the Slopes
- The easiest access to the slopes is from floor -1 of the hotel.
- Lift passes are required at this point.
- After exiting the hotel, guests can ski down to the chairlift approximately 30m away.
- The ski slope at this point, 'Le Boulevard', is rated green (beginner friendly) and has further access to blue, red, and black runs via the La Plagne chairlift network.
- There is Télébus Gondola access from near the hotel that travels to Plagne Villages.
- There is Télémétro Gondola access from La Plagne Centre that travels to Plagne Aime 2000. .
Main Lifts
- The lift surveyed is located in the lobby.
- The distance from the entrance is 10m.
- The most accessible route to the lift has step-free level access.
- There are no doors to open along the most accessible route.

Standard Lift

- Floors -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 can be accessed by this lift.
- The lift door has a medium colour contrast.
- The lift has a level manoeuvring space in front of it for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- The weight limit for the lift is 630kg.
- The external lift control buttons have tactile markings.
- The control buttons have a low colour contrast.
- None of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- The lift door opening width is 80cm.
- The internal dimensions of the lift are 110cm (width) x 145cm (depth).

- Internally the lift has: a list of floor services/facilities, a visual floor indicator, an audible announcer and a mirror to aid reversing.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey.
- There are other lifts available at this location which are of a similar size.
- Only the left hand lift (Lift 1) goes down to floor -1 for Skiset equipment hire shop, ski and boot room, Toilet with Adaptations and exit to slopes.
Hotel - Ski-in and Ski-out Access
- This is the ski-in, ski-out access route from the hotel to the slopes.
- There is a single door with a locked extension leaf that can be opened on request.
- The door has an opening width of 88cm.
- The door opens outwards onto the slopes and is easy to open.
- There is a canopy which provides weather protection, if entering the hotel from outside.
Chairlifts - Belambra Hotel Le Terra Nova and La Plagne
- After exiting the hotel, guests can ski down to the Boulevard chairlift approximately 30m away.
- Lift passes are required at this point.
- There is assistance available at this point for anyone requiring it.
- Some chairlifts across the resort can be paused to support skiers with specialist equipment.
- There are wider access turnstiles for skiers with adapted equipment.
- There are a variety of chairlifts operating from Plagne Centre that vary in type and size.
- Assistance is available at the chairlifts.
Gondola - Belambra Hotel Le Terra Nova to Plagne Villages
- This is the Télébus Gondola service to Plagne Villages.
- The service is free for all passengers.
- There is ramped access to the Gondola platform.
- The ramp has a slight gradient.
- There is alternative access for wheelchair users avoiding the turnstile.
- The Gondola can seat 4 passengers and hold up to 6 with equipment.
- There is stepped access onto the Gondola.
- The step has a height of 3cm.
- The doors are automatic, with an opening width of 95cm.
- The Gondola stops fully for all passengers to board and disembark.
- There is assistance available at this point.
