By Road
View
- Approaching Ilkeston from Nottingham or Derby via the A609 follow the Town Centre signs to the traffic lights at Ilkeston Community Fire Station on the corner of the A609 and Oakwell Drive. Turn into Oakwell Drive and go straight ahead for 500m to the next set of traffic lights. Turn right into West End Drive. At the crossroads, 150m ahead go straight ahead onto Pimlico. The college is the building on your left.
- If using arranged on-site parking turn left into New Lawn Road at the end of the college building and the car park entrance is 100m on your left. Most visitors will use the public pay and display car park which is straight ahead on Pimlico 200m on the left. Blue Badge holders do not have to pay but must display the badge. There is free parking for an hour (collect a free ticket from the machine). The tariff is displayed clearly next to the machines.

By Bus
View
- Buses to and from all local areas including Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Heanor, Sandiacre, Long Eaton and East Midlands Airport stop at Ilkeston Market Place adjacent to Erewash Borough Council Offices. At the side of the Council Office car park there is a wide, well lit, footpath through to Pimlico. The total distance is around 200m.

By Train
View
- Trains from Ilkeston Station serve Langley Mill, Alfreton and Chesterfield then further north or connections to the South West and Wales. Trains to the South serve Nottingham and on to Norwich or connections to London and East Coast services. All trains serving Ilkeston are operated by East Midlands Trains. Bus service 27 from Swingate to Ilkeston Market Place stops opposite the car park entrance.
