- Elvet Hill Cottage is located on Elvet Hill Road, off the A177 South Road, which links the A167 Darlington Road, at the Cock o' the North Roundabout with the south side of the City Centre.
- There is on street pay and display or permit parking on Elvet Hill Road. Blue Badge parking is available outside the neighbouring Al Quasimi Building with additional standard parking bays in the site car park in front of the building for university permit holders. There is a campus car park on Elvet Hill Road at the South Road end for permit holders.
