    • The car park is located next to Carter House. The car park is for permit holders only. It is accessed off Leazes Road, then to the second left of the slip road.

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The A177 South Road links the A167 Darlington Road, at the Cock o' the North Roundabout with the A177 Stockton Road on the south side of the City Centre.
    • There are individual Blue Badge bays across the site for permit holders. There is Blue Badge parking at the Lower Mountjoy site - South Road entrance.
      There is a campus car park for standard parking on the other side (east) of the site, accessed from Stockton Road. This car park has electric car charging points.
      The nearest public on-street pay and display parking is either on Stockton Road to the north-east, or Quarryheads Lane to the north-west.

Carpark Exit

  • The exit is located to the far end of the car park. To exit the carpark there is a step which ranges from 4cm to 17cm in height.
  • From here there are 15+ steps leading to Bede Main Building. There are 15+ steps leading to Bede Gym West that can be overcome by using the steep slope at the front of the car park going around Carter House.
  • There is a path leading to the Chapel but isn't suitable for wheelchair users due to barriers.
