This site is located on two streets, Old Elvet and New Elvet, and separated by the County Crown Court. Both sites are situated along the River Wear and meet at Elvet Bridge junction. New Elvet accommodates academic departments and the Student Union. Old Elvet accommodates academic departments, Racecourse Sports Field, St Cuthbert’s Society College and Occupational Health. Along the river bank is Maiden Castle Sports Centre, which is our main sports centre and sports fields.
