Introduction

Entrance (Departure Gates 1-5)

  • Entrance View
    • This information is for the entrance located at the rear of the Departure Lounge, opposite the Traveller clothing shop.
    • The entrance area/door is clearly signed.
    • There is step free access at this entrance.
    • The entrance door(s) does/do contrast visually with its immediate surroundings.
    • The main door(s) open(s) automatically.

Departure Gates 1-5 Waiting Lounge

  • There is step free access from the entrance to the Departure Gates.
  • There is a seating area located at the centre of the departure gate area.
  • The seating is fixed.
  • The seats do not have armsets.
  • There are audible announcements for flight information.
  • The type of flooring is vinyl.
  • The lighting levels are good.

Departures Gates 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

  • There is step free access to Departure Gate 1.
  • There is ramped access to Departure Gates 2, 3 and 4.
  • The height of the desks is 135cm.
  • Staff can come around the desk to check a passengers documentation if needed.
  • There are automatic doors leading from the departure gates to the tarmac.
  • There is step free access from Departure Gates 2, 3 and 4 via the tarmac to the planes.

Ambulift
