    • Frameless is a multi-sensory venue near Marble Arch, London, featuring five galleries showcasing art presented in ways never seen before.
    • Facilities available in the venue include: a café, a shop, cloakroom, art galleries.

    • There is step-free level access at the most accessible entrance.
    • There is step-free level access throughout.
    • Access throughout may include narrow walkways.
    • The ground level and basement level can be accessed via a standard lift, a platform lift, stairs and escalator.
    • The following facilities are available: a seat/chair, a manual wheelchair, a designated safe space, a water bowl for assistance dogs and a hearing assistance (on request).
    • Additional equipment which can be borrowed or hired includes: folding, manual wheelchairs.
    • The venue can provide British Sign Language interpreters, large print documents, audio readers and an audio description service.
    • Additional facilities/services include: phone charging points and Wi-Fi.
    • Staff receive the following training: regular accessibilitiy training ie: visual, hearing, special educational needs, First Aid, Fire Warden training, safeguarding.

Entrance

  • This entrance is located at the front of the building.

  • There are double manual doors at this entrance, however one door is locked.

Reception

  • The reception is located straight ahead and to the right.
  • The journey time to this reception from the main entrance is approximately less than one minute.
  • There is step-free level access to reception.
  • The height of the reception desk is 100cm.
  • There is a lowered section at the desk, however it is not at a suitable height for a wheelchair user .
  • There is a portable hearing assistance system which is not clearly signed.
  • There is background noise in this area.
  • Queueing visitors can request to be fast-tracked if needed.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout all areas.
  • The following areas have stepped access: access to the galleries from the lift, although the platform lift overcomes the steps.
  • Access throughout may include narrow walkways.
  • There is background noise.
  • Wayfinding signage is not provided.
  • Seating available in the walkways includes: chairs with armrests, chairs without armrests, benches and stools.

Lift

  • The lift surveyed is located directly opposite the reception desk.
  • The journey time to this lift from the reception desk is approximately less than a minute.
  • The most accessible route to the lift has step-free level access.
  • The ground level (G) and basement level (B1) are accessed by this lift.
  • All of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
  • The lift door opening width is 90cm.
  • All of the internal lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
  • Internally the lift has: a mirror to aid reversing, a visual floor indicator, an audible announcer and a list of floor services/facilities.

Stairs

  • The stairs surveyed are located to the left of the lifts.
  • There is a single manual door to access the stairwell.
  • The ground level and basement level can be accessed by these stairs.
  • There are 20+ steps between floors which are clearly marked and have handrails on both sides.
  • There is also an escalator to access the ground level from the basement level.

Shop

  • Getting Around View

  • Payment View
    • The checkout area is located in the centre of the shop.
    • There is step-free level access to the checkout area.
    • The venue has a payment counter.
    • The designated accessible till point has a lowered counter, a portable payment machine and a hearing assistance system.
    • The height of the payment counter is 92cm.
    • There is a lowered section at the counter, however it is not at a suitable height for a wheelchair user .

Lift (To Access the Café and Toilets - Platform Lift)

  • The journey time to this lift from the main lifts is approximately one minute.
  • The most accessible route to the lift has step-free level access.
  • The upper basement level and lower basement level are accessed by this lift.
  • All of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
  • The lift door opening width is 96cm.
  • All of the internal lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
  • Internally the lift has: a separate door to exit.

Seating Area

  • The seating area is located next to the café.
  • The most accessible route to the seating area has a platform lift.

Eating and Drinking (Café Bar)

    • The most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and a platform lift.
    • This area has a counter where food and drink can be ordered, a counter where food can be ordered, a bar where food and drink can be ordered, staff who can provide assistance with ordering, colleagues who can provide assistance with ordering, designated seating and numerous seating options.

    • Menus are handheld and available on a board.
