    • There is step-free access via a portable ramp at the most accessible entrance.
    • There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
    • The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: reception, the training room and the pontoon.
    • Access throughout may include manual doors.
    • The following facilities are available: a seat/chair, a hearing assistance system, a manual wheelchair, walking aids, portable hoists, mobility scooter charging facilities, an assistance dog spending area and a water bowl for assistance dogs. Please check in advance for charges and if you need to pre-book.
    • Additional equipment which can be borrowed or hired includes: a wheely-boat, portable intermediate step to access boats, padding, cushions and support seat for boats, roller ramp for wheelchairs to access the boats.

Reception

  • The reception is located in the main building, straight ahead from the car park.

  • There is a lowered section at the desk, at a suitable height for a wheelchair user .

Room (The Training Room/Social Area)

  • The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide with a handrail on the right going up.
  • There is a single manual door which is permanently held open.

  • Furniture can be moved to enable a manoeuvring space for a wheelchair user.
  • There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
  • Seating available in the room includes: chairs without armrests.
  • Furniture available in the room includes: tables.

  • There is no (or very little) background noise in this room.

Seating Area (Outdoors)
