Getting In and Around

- There is step-free access via a portable ramp at the most accessible entrance.
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
- The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: reception, the training room and the pontoon.
- Access throughout may include manual doors.
- The following facilities are available: portable hoists, walking aids, a water bowl for assistance dogs, a hearing assistance system, mobility scooter charging facilities, a manual wheelchair, an assistance dog spending area and a seat/chair.
- Additional equipment which can be borrowed or hired includes: a wheely-boat, portable intermediate step to access boats, padding, cushions and support seat for boats, roller ramp for wheelchairs to access the boats.
- The venue can provide large print documents, Makaton and audio readers.
- Staff receive the following training: Autism Awareness, Disability Awareness.

Room (The Training Room/Social Area)

- There is a single manual door which is permanently held open.
- The width of the opening is 95cm.

- Furniture can be moved to enable a manoeuvring space for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
