Introduction

Library to Interior Design & MU Illustration Building

  • Exit the library and follow the cobble stones path to the right for 10 metres (photograph 1).
  • Turn left and proceed down the steep hill (photograph 2).
  • After 10 metres the cobbled path attains a tarmac surface, which is uneven in places (photograph 3).
  • Follow the path for 20 metres to a left hand bend (photographs 4, 5 and 6).
  • Follow the path for 20 metres passing Rosehill Gardens on the right (photographs 7, 8 and 9).
  • The downward steep hill begins to level to a downward slight hill (photograph 10).
  • Continue along the path for 25 metres until the Interior Design & MU Illustration Building on the right (photograph 11).

Interior Design & MU Illustration to The Hub Main Entrance

  • Follow the tarmac path for 45 metres, passing the IT and Printzone Building on the right (photographs 1 to 5).
  • The path becomes increasingly uneven in places.
  • Enter the Hub main entrance on the right (photograph 6).

The Hub Main Entrance to Platform Lift (via Café)

  • Continue ahead for 15 metres towards a platform lift.
  • The floor surface is level tiling.
  • To access the café, take the lift to floor 2, exiting the lift on the right hand side.

Platform Lift (via Café) to Fox 4 (School of Communication)

  • For access to the main floor, take the lift to Floor 0.
  • Exit the lift and turn left (photograph 1).
  • Proceed through the Compass area for 18 metres until the entrance to the Fox 4 (School of Communication) (photograph 2).
  • The floor has a level tiled surface from the lift to the building entrance.
  • The steps into the main areas are further bypassed by a platform lift to the right (photographs 5 to 8).
