Access To
- This lecture theatre is within the Old Chapel building.
- View information on Tremough House and Tremough House Annexe (opens new tab) .
- The most accessible route has step-free level access and automatic doors.
- There are two entrances into the lecture theatre, the accessible entrance is located to the left of the main building entrance.
- There is no signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the Old Chapel lecture room to give access to the front rows.
- There is a single automatic door which opens towards you.
- The push pad for the automatic doors is at a height of 112cm.
- The width of the opening is 84cm.
- The door has a low visual contrast.
- There is a push pad or push button to exit at a height of 113cm.
Teaching
- This is a lecture theatre.
- There is step-free level access to the speaker’s area and front row only.
- The following areas have stepped access: From row 5 to the rear of the lecture theatre.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
