Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The Harrow Weald Campus is located in the north west of London.
      This campus can be most easily reached from the M1 by leaving at junction 4 onto Edgeware Way then turning right onto Spur Road and continuing down the A410 for approximately 3 miles, then turning right onto the A409.
      The campus is approximately 300m from the A410/A409 turning.
    • There is limited parking at the Harrow Weald campus.
      There is free parking for visitors and allocated parking for staff.
      Student parking is limited to students with medical or disability requirements.
      There is student parking available on a first come, first served basis, after 5:30pm when evening courses are being held.
  • By Bus View
    • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the campus.
    • The nearest bus stop is the Weald College (stop WD) which is served by route 258 and bus stop Weald College (stop WB) which is served by routes 258 and 640.
      These stops are located on the A409 approximately 85m north of the college entrance.
      There is a further bus stop (stop WE) which is served by routes 340, H12 and H18.
      This stop is located on Uxbridge Road approximately 200m from the college entrance.

Building Parking

  • The building does have its own dedicated parking.
  • Building Car Park View
    • The car park can be used by staff, visitors and Blue Badge holders.
    • There are no parking charges that apply on the day.
    • The car park is located to the left as you enter the campus entrance, in front of the Newton Building.
    • The car park type is open air/surface.
    • The car park does not have a height restriction barrier.
    • Designated Blue Badge parking bays are available.
    • There is/are 1 designated parking bay(s) within the car park.
    • The Blue Badge bay(s) is/are clearly marked.

Getting Around

    • There are two steps next to the ramp described above which also provide access into the construction workshops.
      There is not tactile paving at the top and bottom of the steps.
      The steps are clearly marked and are medium height (11cm - 17cm) and have a depth of 28cm.
      There are handrails on both sides of these steps.
      Photographs 5 - 8 show some of the construction workshops contained within the building.

    • There are doors in corridors/walkways which have to be opened manually.
    • The type of flooring in corridors/walkways is laminate.
    • There is some flooring in corridors/walkways which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
